Updated 11-06-2016

Update as said on the First Page. Surgery Recovery went great and we had our first class last weekend. Went well and Brian finished a great little skinner. Now is the time to lock in your date this fall. Weather will be changing for the good. Wow! 2016 was a busy year. Taught a couple dozen souls, two couples and many singles (Separately ) Classes are open again as long as Winter cooperates. Just finished a class with Brian who made a nice Skinner. Turned out nice especially a first one. Look for the great knives everyone has made. We teach a BASIC Knifemaking Class using the Stock Removal Method ( Convex Ground ) using Hi_Carbon Saw Steel. Mostly One on One or a sometimes a couple, so we can spend quality time with you. You will complete a nice drop point skinner knife with your choice of "in stock" handle material and steel, to take home and show off. If time allows we start work on a second knife.

If you are interested in a class in 2016, let us know. Lock in your class now. Classes are held here in Alta, California, an hour or so to North Lake Tahoe.
